Cypress Harbor is one of the waterfront neighborhoods behind Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. I’m grouping many neighborhoods together into one and calling it Cypress Harbor for simplicity. The neighborhoods include Cypress Harbor, Snug Harbor, Garden Isles, Cypress Lake Estates, Waterview Estates, and Boulevard Park Isles on the very west side. This is a very diverse area and based on the layout of the canals, is a very unique neighborhood. There is over a mile of canals here so there are a lot of waterfront lots if you are looking for a home. This area is increasing in value quickly and is an excellent investment for someone looking for a home to live in or as an investment.
This is a large neighborhood that is generally bordered by the thriving commercial
district along Federal Highway to the east, Atlantic Ave to the north which is somewhat
of a main street for Pompano Beach and leads all the way to the beach, Cypress Rd
to the west, and McNab Rd to the south. All of the bridges within the neighborhood
are fixed so it’s important to check these out when looking into buying or renting
property here. The lowest clearance north of McNab is about 10’ so most speedboats
and fishing boats do well here. McNab bridge is about 7’ so this may limit center
consoles. (Always double-
